In this episode, “Tough Mudder and Identifying Your Real Estate Agent,” Steve and Rob “let their hair down” just a bit. Rob is spending his last week as a fat kid as he intends to start preparing next week for the team’s 4th annual running of Tough Mudder, taking place in Sparta KY this year on June 10th and 11th, 2016. We would love for our listeners that are interested to join us this year. If you have interest in an excellent display of teamwork and camaraderie, drop us a line at email@example.com. We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop and get you the details that you need.
Rob talks about a video he posted on facebook where he issues a challenge to his fellow Realtors and he seeks to be proven wrong. You can find the video and follow Rob at facebook.com/realtor.robstjohn and be sure to like the page while you are there… if will make him feel good.
Finally, Rob and Steve talk about some tips to look for when choosing your next Realtor. What is their sense of the market? Steve asks to inquire as to the kind of production have they accomplished, but not for reason that may first come to mind. Also, Steve gets a little bit passionate about their open house strategies… a bit too passionate. The point is this; pay attention to the “marketing plan.” A successful agent is an agent who listens and understands that you are unique and your situation is special to you. A successful agent will execute marketing strategies to fit those unique concerns, and he/she will have strategies that go above and beyond what their company may provide. The greatest question that a successful agetn could get regrding theyir sepcifc marketing practices is this: what kind of return do you see on that particular piece of marketing. An agent who is invested in theri business will show their excitement and the passion will exude. However, an agent that just goes with the company norm most likely will have an awkward answer, if there is an answer at all.
